Warriors in Action

August 29th, 2015 we had our first inaugural event, a one mile race along the shoreline of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park! The run finished with a beach party including a live DJ, Momentum Brewhouse serving beers (named after our mascot Kaikoa!), Paddleboards and kayaks, as well as beach games like cornhole and beach golf! Despite the hurricane honing in on Southwest Florida, the support and dedication to help others from our community was amazing. It was an AWESOME time!

Our warriors ran for 5 charities: Adonis Autism, Caleb’s Crusade, GiGi’s Playhouse, The Kira Foundation, and The Passion Foundation. All local, all helping children and families right here in our community. Once they crossed the finish line, they received a dog tag medal and a free beer at the party!

Even with the hurricane approaching, we had 254 runners participate in this event and raised over $1,000 in raffles! We were able to give back $5,041.20 to these deserving charities.

BBQ and BREWS 2015

Just before Christmas 2015, it was brought to our attention that there were a few families in our community that could really use our help. Their children: Damian, Brock, Isabella and Jade are all suffering from cancer, all under the age of 10 years old. Hearing this, we decided to do our first “pop up event” to raise money and awareness for these very deserving families! On December 19th, we partnered up with Momentum Brewhouse and Simply Southern BBQ, and put on an event for them!

Even though it was holiday shopping crunch time, we had over 230 people come out to support these courageous families and their battles with cancer. We had a live band, tons of beer and BBQ – we even had Christmas Cards for the kids that everyone signed!

We raised nearly $5,000, happily giving each family a check for $1,217.00. It was amazing to see the out-pouring of love and support our community provided to these incredibly brave families in their time of need.

Time to get your Sherlock on, Warriors! January 16th 2016, we designed and operated a Scavenger Hunt located in Downtown Naples called Adventures 4 Autism, raising money and awareness for a local Autism foundation called Adonis Autism.

We had 12 different stops along their adventure! From coffee shops and memorials – to selfies with our mascot, Kaikoa at the crossroads of one of Naples most famous intersections! Bonus points for those who built a sandcastle and posted it on Facebook!

We finished with an after party at 7th Avenue Social, the last stop on the hunt! Since Autism foundations are known for their puzzle logos, at each stop the hunters picked up a puzzle piece with Autism Facts on the back!

We raised just over $500 for Adonis Autism, and everyone had such a blast!
